The New Community Shelter's Annual Bowl-a-thon is Saturday, November 4th. And they are looking for
people who like to bowl, have fun and want to raise money on behalf of the
New Community Shelter.
The event has the capacity to host 60 teams made up of 4-6 bowlers each. The
greatest amount of revenue generated from the event is through sponsorships
& bowler pledges.
Bowlers are encouraged to collect pledges, and $100 is the suggested minimum
of pledges needed to participate in the event. Each bowler receives a packet
which includes a Pledge Sheet to record the pledges they are collecting.
Though the shelter prefers that pledges are pre-paid, there typically remains the need
to invoice donors following the event.
The Bowl-a-thon is sponsored by a number of local organizations and
corporations including the Vietnam Veterans of America, Nicolet Bank, Green
Bay Packaging, Schneider, Graymont, Green Bay Packers and JBS.
Participating teams are made up of families, friends, church groups, clubs,
corporate teams, cops, veterans & more!!
